Over the last 18 months we have created SmartPrac, a cloud based intuitive practice management system for medical practitioners geared for streamlined systems and optimum efficiency.
As a medical practitioner in South Africa, it is very difficult to run a functional and successful business and difficult to deliver high quality patient centered care and support. Like most businesses, day to day management is difficult due to various factors, including time, bandwidth, resources, energy and so forth.
Currently medical practitioners operate on separate and multiple systems for general admin businesses processes such as patient filling, scheduling, billing and stock management. Furthermore these systems are built with specific and limiting hardware requirements (that look like DOS!), require intensive training and a full-time IT team to keep them operating. This disjointed approach limits efficiency, decreases the quality of patient care and negatively affects cashflow and revenue.
At SmartPrac we’ve developed a culture of purpose and innovation. We aim to solve the inefficiency of health care system processes in Africa and creative an environment of high quality patient centered care.
The web-based services allow users to login anytime from anywhere and is accessible from a variety of platforms, such as desktop, mobile or tablet on any internet connection.
Core features include Appointment Scheduling, Treatment Notes, Invoices & Accounting, Reporting and Mobile.
Smartprac gets small practices up and running immediately, without previous requirement of skills, significant setup time or capital outlay and all with localised integration.
As one of our most successful in-house builds we’re quite excited to be changing the way healthcare and patient centered care is approach in South Africa!
